Careers Advice

Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance Policy and Provision

Endeavour Federation is committed to providing an impartial and person-centred programme of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to all its pupils, from Year 7 through to Year 11. By doing so, we seek to ensure they are developing the skills and knowledge necessary to make and implement informed and aspirational career decisions throughout their working life. Our professional, independent and impartial careers information, advice and guidance is provided by Career Connect.

Our Careers Adviser, Mike Solomon, offers one to one interviews to help our pupils to develop realistic and informed career aspirations throughout their time at school.

Additional help is provided to manage all Year 11 pupils’ applications to colleges, training and apprenticeships and related transition activities to ensure a happy and settled progression into whatever they have chosen to do on leaving Endeavour Federation.

Our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance programme forms part of our PSHE curriculum which seeks to prepare our pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and life experiences they may face on leaving the Federation.

Our schools strive to provide Parents and Carers the best possible support when they are helping their children to understand their post-16 options and welcomes any questions or feedback you wish to provide us to help us improve the careers service provision, opportunities to provide feedback are provided in our parent survey.
